REOPENING OF

THE GOUFFRE DE PADIRAC

The Gouffre de Padirac will reopen its doors from Friday 31 March to 5 November 2023.
The online ticketing service will open soon, so you can plan your visit in advance by buying your tickets.

Located in the Lot department, in the heart of the Dordogne Valley and a stone's throw from Ro-camadour, the Gouffre de Padirac is the first natural underground heritage site in France.
This natural cavity, 33 metres in diameter and 75 metres deep, opens the doors to a 2 km long underground journey on foot and by boat.
Discovered in 1889 by Edouard-Alfred Martel and opened to the public over 130 years ago, the Gouffre de Padirac has amazed over 26 million visitors.
